The Takfiri ISIL terrorist group has violated human rights regulations in Iraq on more than four million instances since last year, the Iraqi human rights minister has announced.
Mohammad Mahdi al-Bayati said Thursday that the crimes committed by ISIL across Iraq include genocide, murder, kidnapping and bombing residential areas as well as public places and government buildings, the local al-Sumaria news outlet reported.
The Iraqi minister further said 2,980 Iraqi civilians and military personnel from the provinces of al-Anbar, Nineweh, Kirkuk, Diyala and Salahuddin have gone missing in the past year, and efforts are currently underway to determine their fate.

Bayati added that the Iraqi government is currently engaged in efforts to further present to the international community the atrocities perpetrated by the terror group against Iraqis.
Last year, the senior Iraqi official said the Takfiri elements had abducted over 5,000 Izadi women and young girls and were putting them on display in some sort of slave markets.
Meanwhile in an October 2014 report, the UN Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI) and the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights confirmed that the ISIL terrorists and affiliated Takfiri armed groups in Iraq had committed a “staggering array” of systematic human rights abuses – including mass executions, abducting women and using girls as sex slaves.
“The array of violations and abuses perpetrated by ISIL and associated armed groups is staggering, and many of their acts may amount to war crimes or crimes against humanity,” said UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Zeid Ra’ad al-Hussein.
The security situation in Iraq has deteriorated after ISIL terrorists, of whom many are foreign militants, took control of parts of the country’s northern and western regions last year.
On Wednesday, the United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI) says the ISIL-fueled conflict in Iraq claimed the lives of at least 1,466 people in June, 40 percent higher than the previous month.
