Torrential rains have turned summer holidays into a nightmare for most Britons.

Torrential rains in the UK have turned summer holiday weekends into a nightmare for most families across the country.

Meanwhile, UK police have issued further weather warnings for unseasonable wind and rain.

Local media say western parts of East Anglia have been the worst hit by the bad weather. In north Norfolk coast, families who have traveled there to enjoy their holidays are experiencing severe rain and wind.

Experts say the south would have a relatively better weekend. They also predict more heavy showers for the north-east and Scotland.

According to them, next week UK would experience more low pressure with Ireland, Northern England and Southern Scotland going through heavy downpours.
