The Greek parliament has approved a new round of austerity measures required by the country’s international creditors in return for financial aid.

Lawmakers voted in favor of a bill to penalize early retirement and to expand unpopular property tax. Prior to the vote, people took to the streets of the capital Athens to protest against the bill.
