US tries to fool Americans over ISIL war: Analyst

The US is trying to convince the American public to support its fight against Daesh now that Russia is winning in its campaign against the Takfiris, says an analyst.

A recent report that the Daesh Takfiri group is resorting to ‘crowdsourcing’ to carry out terror attacks in the US is aimed at persuading the American public into supporting Washington’s 'battle' against Daesh, says an analyst.

The NBC report said Friday that Daesh was involved in using hackers to steal the identity and crucial information of people it set aside for future attacks.

It came after the US requested Malaysia to detain Kosovar hacker Ardit Ferizi for allegedly giving ISIL over a thousand of some 100,000 names stolen from the Phoenix server of an unnamed US retailer.

“This hacking story is a bunch of” nonsense, Mike Harris, editor of Veterans Today, told Press TV on Sunday. They are “trying to scare the American public into supporting efforts against ISIS whenever the Russian effort has been full effective.”

“The Daesh (ISIS, ISIL) has lost their funding, the Russian bombing campaign has eliminated its source of fund by cutting them off from the oil they are stealing and the artifacts they're stealing,” Harris added.

“The American effect has been completely ineffective because the Americans are supporting ISIS, Turkey’s supporting the ISIS, Israel, Saudi Arabia, other countries are supporting ISIS,” he noted.

“So they’re trying to create a fear factor in the Americans about identity theft,” he added.

Harris said it’s a false story “because ISIS is on the run, they’re being crushed right now by the Russian, Iranian and Hezbollah efforts to drive them out of Syria.”

Russia launched its air campaign against Daesh Takfiri terrorists on September 30. The US has also been carrying out its own airstrikes in Syria, allegedly pounding the Takfiris' positions inside the country.

Observers say while the US and its allies claim they are fighting against terrorist groups like ISIL, they in fact helped create and train those organizations to affect their policies in the Middle East.
