Now, scientists have found this bizarre jellyfish nearly 4,000 meters under the Pacific Ocean.

The creature in this video looks like an alien. It has spectacular red and yellow stripes that appear to glow in its body.

The footage was captured by scientists who were exploring the deepest part of the Pacific.

The researchers believe this animal is an ambush predator which waits motionless for prey to fall into its tentacles.
