Turkey’s High Election body has rejected President Erdogan’s AK Party request for a full recount of ballots in Istanbul’s mayoral election. It only accepted the recount in 21 districts. AK party has earlier made an appeal regarding alleged irregularities in a district and demanded the vote in Istanbul to be held again.
