US assassination of General Soleimani a nail in coffin of Int’l law: UN rapporteur

In a series of tweets on Sunday, Agnes Callamard, the UN special rapporteur on extrajudicial, summary or arbitrary executions, termed the US assassination of General Soleimani as “unlawful”, pointing out that the attack was a “nail in the coffin of international law”.
