The heart-breaker came in the 90th minute when Leandro Trossard picked up a loose ball and dribbled Eric Dier, before skillfully guiding his effort past Ougo Lioris.
The result snapped spurs 4-game winning run, leaving Antonio Conte’s Men in 4th, only 3 points clear of Arsenal, who have 2 games in hand.
Meanwhile, Brighton moved up to 10th, with 40 points.
