Palestinian resistance fighters based in the besieged Gaza Strip have launched an unprecedentedly large-scale operation against Israel.
Codenamed Operation al-Aqsa Storm, the surprise offensive started shortly before 7 a.m. on Saturday, as Israelis were celebrating the last day of the week-long Sukkot festival, with hundreds of rockets fired at Israel.
