On the occasion of Iran’s Holy Defense Week, a special ceremony has been held in Tehran to honor political prisoners martyred before the victory of Iran’s Islamic Revolution.
Families of the martyrs gathered to remember the lives defined by sacrifice and resilience which were demonstrated both in the struggle against the Pahlavi regime and the eight-year war imposed on Iran in the 1980s.
