Residents in central Gaza returned Sunday morning to assess the damage caused by Israeli strikes on their homes, which they had been warned to evacuate the day before.
Bassam Abed, a resident who lost his house in the strike, said that at least 10 homes housing some 300 families were reduced to rubble in the Israeli strike.
Families were not given enough time to flee before the military struck their buildings.
Abed said, as a consequence, “women slept outdoors. We did not take clothes".
People can be seen moving in the rubble and trying to find their belongings.
The Israeli military said it is striking militant infrastructure when asked about Sunday’s evacuation warnings in Gaza.
