Iran rejects the US claim that energy is being freely transported out of the Strait of Hormuz.
The foreign ministry spokesman says the US itself is resorting to other countries for supplies of fuel and this clearly shows the strait is closed.
Esmaeil Baqaei also rejected the US allegations that Iran has lost its leverage in the key waterway.
