Families of Iranians killed during the 12-day war have taken their demands for justice to a courtroom in Tehran.

The first public hearing has opened at Branch 55 of Tehran's Court for International Affairs, where 130 lawsuits are seeking compensation from the United States and Israel.

Fifty-five of the cases concern victims of the Israeli attack on Evin Prison, which Iranian authorities say killed 71 people.
