Iran’s Anbaran city moves closer to UNESCO recognition for its Kilim weaving tradition

The Iranian city of Anbaran in Namin County, Ardabil province, is moving closer to seeking global recognition from UNESCO for its kilim weaving tradition, with around 3,500 registered weavers currently active in the city.
